Small Steps

When we’re feeling down, everything can feel like hard work. Often, we don’t feel like doing much of anything. But if we allow our feelings to dictate what we do, there’s a high chance that we’ll keep doing the things that bring us down.

When we do something, even a small something, we start to feel energised which fuels motivation, and can improve our mood.

For example, you might text a friend and let them know how much they mean to you. Or if you enjoy being out in nature, you might lace up your sneakers and take your dog out for a short walk, as much as you may not feel like it.

Everything starts with small steps – not giant leaps.

MOST – support when and where you need it.
